As Vice President for Corporate Development, Matt Jarman leads American Well's business development and strategic planning activities. Prior to American Well, Mr. Jarman was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, he worked with industry leaders in health care, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications to design new Web and electronic services, develop multi-disciplinary merger integration strategies, and create global information technology strategies. Before earning his MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management, Mr. Jarman was a submarine nuclear engineering officer in the U.S. Navy, where he designed and led complex, multi-organization workflows for the Navy's first-ever strategic missile system conversion. Mr. Jarman also holds a BA in computer science and an MS in electrical engineering from Northwestern University.
